Meet the Founder
Lena Weisman founded Weiswoman & Associates because she has lived on both sides of the table.
The daughter of the entrepreneurs behind Mulay’s Sausage, a women-owned family-run small business, she learned early that communicating across diverse audiences is a necessity, not a nicety. She carried that understanding into the nonprofit sector as Executive Director of Gloucester Main Street, where she led three organizations, supported over fifty small businesses, and spearheaded design, marketing, and digital communications work.
Her formal training reinforced what experience had already taught her. She studied Graphic Design and Computer Science Engineering at Lehigh University and earned a Master of Science in Digital Society & Social Change from the University of Glasgow. A graduate of UVA’s Sorensen Institute’s 2025 Emerging Leader Program and a community organizer in the greater Williamsburg area, she brings creative craft, technical fluency, and a people-first approach to every partnership.
